New Zealand’s universities continuously rank among the best in the world, which will definitely help you get the career you want.

Master degrees are being taught in a variety of ways, creating a balance between practical and theoretical learning to give you specialised knowledge and allow you to apply your knowledge and skills. Open debates are supposed to help you make your own discoveries.
Most universities operate on a semester schedule with students attending school from March to November each year. Admission requirements may vary between the different institutions. In order to directly apply to your chosen university, you must have a recognized first degree and sufficient English proficiency.

Fees and Visa formalities for Master students

Tuition fees for Master courses may differ between universities, depending on the field of study. On average you will have to expect fees of around NZ$ 20,000. International scholarships may be awarded to postgraduate students to partially cover fees and are often awarded on the basis of the academic merit.

If you plan to study in New Zealand you are required to apply for a student visa. You will need to provide evidence of the following:

•    The offer for a Master programme from an educational institution
•    Sufficient financial support for tuition fees and living costs while studying in NZ
•    Return ticket to your country of origin
