Modern fields of study

Knowledge, together with its development, has changed the way education is viewed, accepted and more importantly - delivered. Nowadays, modern universities function with the use of different academic disciplines. When seen as a system, they preserve the fruits of human thought in a well-organized and structured outline which can only grow and expand in the future.

The expansion of this academic discipline is expected to be the greatest.

Engineering is another exciting area worth mentioning. The world as we know it and our surroundings are a result of numerous works related to mechanics, dynamics and the evolution of mechanical systems. The diversity of subdivisions in the field of Engineering is exceptional, with studies including Architecture, Mechanical Engineering and Urban Planning. Recently there have been numerous new entries such as Process Engineering and Aerospace Engineering. The fast-paced development of the Engineering discipline has even led to the involvement of some IT branches and the introduction of Robotics, Automation and Mechatronics.

3. Science - getting to know our world better

On this note we can jump right on the area of Science and Mathematics. There are both old branches like Biology, Chemistry and Physics and the newer ones such as Environmental Science and Biotechnology involved. Regardless, they are all widely considered for enrollment by students who are interested in the spheres of numbers, atoms and molecules. The important and life depending themes of climate change, green technology and environmental conservation are all present in courses like Environmental Management and Sustainability.

4. Business studies – always expanding and developing

Surely it is inevitable to include the field of Business and Economics. The global economic dynamics, financial problems and world debts are widely attractive to students who are ready to face them and take part in the development of solutions. Wanted sub disciplines include Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Entrepreneurship. The number of programs based on the Economic and Business Sciences is steadily increasing. Different kinds of MBAs, studies in International Business or maybe the Economic Theory itself, they are all a major trend in modern higher education with the increasing demands of business.

5. The modern view of Humanities

Last but not least we present our final hugely popular field – Humanities. Its branches are more than you can imagine as there are studies of entire civilizations, cultures and historical periods. Modern students seem hugely interested in the past with countless course offers in Egyptology, History and Religion. What is more, it is considered that the sphere of Humanities is perfect for a study combination with something additional such as Language Studies, Literature or related. The current job market is in a need of many people with such study backgrounds where the past is the key to the future (educational institutions, research centers and museums).
