Master E-Business (E-Marketing) at Newcastle University Business School

Our E-Business (E-Marketing) MSc combines the four essential components of successful e-business: leading-edge technologies, long-term business strategies, entrepreneurship capacity to implement the strategies through the technologies, and the alignment of people’s behaviour inside and outside the organisation.

You will explore how companies conduct electronic business, from start-ups to multinational corporations. The course will also support your personal development, shape your entrepreneurial mind-set and enhance your employability prospects. Delivered by world-class researchers and successful entrepreneurs, we will prepare you to succeed in the modern e-business world.

Customers are at the core of all winning corporate strategies. Successful strategies address the full customer relationship cycle which includes marketing, sales and service. For example, an e-commerce business markets products based on the tracking of consumer activities in the Internet. Once sales are materialised the enterprise systems and the service personnel must be able to answer any requirement, and solve or escalate any concern of the buyers at any point of the interaction. All this relies on fully integrated systems, the cohesive work of different functional areas, as well as a strong customer-centric organisational culture.

This course offers a complete and balanced combination of modules on e-business. You will start by studying the fundamentals of e-business, gradually developing your analytical and practical skills. By the end of the course you will meet the most demanding professional and academic requirements.

This course is suitable for ambitious people from any academic and professional background, who want to excel in the areas of marketing, sales and customer service.

Academic requirements: For entry onto this Master’s course, you should hold a minimum upper-second-class Honours (2:1) Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent from any subject background.

English language: IELTS 6.5 overall score with no sub skill below 6.0.
