Hanken Master´s Degree Programme

MSc in Economics and Business Administration is a two-year leadership and business programme given in English.

Studies at Hanken encourage your critical thinking and hence both your methodological and analytical skills in order to adapt to a continuously changing business environment. The Master’s degree programme gives you the opportunity to specialise and become a true professional.

Admission

Hanken runs two application rounds for the master's programme. Main application round takes place October - January each year, the additional application round with rolling admission is organised February - May. All studies start in August.

Application requirements for the main round:
 

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a recongised University or Polytechnic
  • Language requirements (TOEFL ≥ 92 or IELTS ≥ 6.5)
  • At least  30 ECTS in subjects relevant for the programme specialisation/track
  • GMAT or GRE Admission test/GPA requirement: GPA Grade B OR GMAT of overall test score of 550 (or RE: In Quantitative Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning a test score of at least 150, in Analytical Writing; a test score of at least 3,5)
  • Motivational Questionnaire & CV
     

Application requirements via Rolling Admissions:
 

  • BSc in Business or Economics (or at least 80 ECTS in Business or Economics)
  • GPA 4 out 5 (or GMAT 600)
  • Language requirement  (TOEFL ≥ 92 or IELTS ≥ 6.5)

QTEM network - Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management

Students within the specialisations Financial Analysis and Business Development or students taking the specialisation Economics can apply for the QTEM Master's network.
 

Hanken is a member of the QTEM network (Quantitative Techniques for Economics and Management) for Master's students, academic partners, and international corporations. By bringing together outstanding students and faculty from the QTEM partner universities, the network aims to develop students' analytical and quantitative skills. As a student at Hanken, you have the opportunity to earn your degree within this network of leading business schools and corporate partners. The double degree option is an extraordinary opportunity to obtain two degrees in four semesters:
