Modules: Masters Innovation and Entrepreneurship at WMG, University of Warwick

The course is modular - each student takes a combination of core and elective modules. 9 modules are studied and assessed in total. Modules consist of nominally 40 hours directed tuition in the form of lectures, seminars, group work, presentations, case studies and e-learning. This is covered in a full-emersion, intensive week.

Modules are assessed by Post Module Assignment - this is typically a further 40 -60 hours of work.

The core modules for the MSc Innovation and Entrepreneurship are:

Elective Modules

Elective modules allow you to select areas of study which are of particular interest to you, relevant to your project or future career plans. For Innovation and Entrepreneurship you can choose two from the list of elective modules on the website.

The taught modules account for 50% of the Master's degree. A major individual research project, submitted in the form of a dissertation accounts for the other 50%. This should take approximately 900 hours of study time. An oral examination is held upon completion.

For the Entrepreneurship course the project is devoted to developing your business idea in a rigorous manner so that at course end you will be able to launch your business.

Work on your project runs concurrently with your module study. You will be able to choose a project or suggest one of your own and a member of staff will guide you through the process of writing a dissertation.
