Master International Marketing at Newcastle University Business School

Our International Marketing MSc provides opportunities for you to acquire a thorough understanding of marketing theories and how to apply them to real-world business challenges.

Specialising in marketing within an international context, you will build a strong foundation across a range of marketing topics, including the rapidly developing areas of international communications, brand management, customer relationship management and e-marketing.

Organisations are becoming increasingly aware of the importance of understanding what their customers want and therefore the necessity to develop products and services that meet their needs and aspirations. Organisations which place customers at the forefront of all decision-making and take a marketing-led approach are able to create competitive advantage and build brand loyalty.

The course will equip you with relevant research techniques required to investigate and critically analyse international marketing issues.

Master International Marketing at Newcastle University Business School: Admission

This course is aimed at students who wish to study a commercially focused postgraduate course, consisting solely of marketing orientated modules. No prior knowledge of marketing theory is required.

Academic requirements: For entry onto this Master’s course, you should hold a minimum upper-second-class Honours (2:1) Bachelor’s degree or its international equivalent equivalent from any subject background.

English language: IELTS 6.5 overall score with no sub skill below 6.0. This course is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), one of the world’s leading international bodies for marketing and business development.

The course is only one of six in the UK to achieve Market Research Society (MRS) accreditation. The accreditation offers you a route to Certified Member status of the MRS without any further exams subject to work experience.
