The LLM International and European Law programme prepares students to work across borders in areas like international business law and human rights. Depending on the specialization (International Business Law or Modern Human Rights Law), you'll gain practical skills in arbitration, legal drafting and negotiating complex international disagreements.You will explore real-world legal challenges like trade conflicts, sustainable business regulation or digital rights through case studies, moot courts and cross-border legal analysis. This program is ideal for law graduates or professionals aiming to work in global organizations, international law companies, or advocacy groups.

The LLM in International and European Law programme has been designed in response to the needs of the labour market, which is increasingly seeking specialists capable of navigating the highly competitive environment of modern commercial relations. Graduates gain expertise in intellectual property law, economics, and other areas of law relevant to the profile of individual companies.Students also acquire practical experience in advising businesses on entering new markets, drawing on their knowledge of international regulations and their ability to assess the validity and effectiveness of investment agreements.

This programme combines two highly interconnected but distinct areas of law: international law and European law, preparing graduates for legal careers in

  • diplomacy, 
  • EU institutions (such as the Court of Justice of the European Union or the European Comission), 
  • human rights area
  • international business companies
  • legal services for enterprises

 

 Typical roles include legal adviser,  EU law specialist, negotiator, mediator, policy analyst or human rights officer.

Main Requirements:

 

  • Legalised Bachelor or Master degree certificate 
  • Transcript of grades/supplement from bachelor or master studies (legalisation is optional)
  • NAWA Director's Individual Recognition Statement*
  • Certificate confirming English language proficiency at B2 level 
  • Passport photocopy or ID card (EU candidates)
  • Digital passport size photo

 

* Mandatory if the Bachelor/Master's diploma is issued in an educational system outside the EU/EFTA/OECD, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Ukraine and China, and if it is not covered by an international agreement.

 

Please note: Conditional admission is possible without legalisation or the NAWA Director’'s Individual Recognition Statement.
