Course description

This Masters course teaches you an in-depth understanding of selecting materials for use in advanced engineering applications. The course aims to convey detailed knowledge of the processing, composition, properties and usage of advanced material systems.

  • Explore the technologies used to manufacture advanced materials
  • Understand the relationship between composition and performance
  • How do these materials perform in hostile conditions

Understanding these aspects provides you with the essential skills, required when selecting and designing engineering materials. Graduates of a Master of Materials Engineering go on to work as engineers, materials scientists or advisors in industry and research development.

Entry requirements of a Master of Materials Engineering
