Entrepreneurship & Tourism at MCI | The Entrepreneurial School®

The Master's programme in Entrepreneurship & Tourism at MCI Innsbruck aims to professionalize entrepreneurship in the tourism and leisure industry. Current challenges in the tourism and leisure industry are incorporated into the studies, and the students learn to recognize and take advantage of the resulting entrepreneurial opportunities. Furthermore, an overall understanding of trends and current developments in national and international tourism is created.

In addition to sound theoretical knowledge, great importance is also attached to practical expert knowledge. Innovative entrepreneurial thinking and acting is the top priority during the entire course of study. This includes leadership, the ability to innovate and intercultural skills in the context of the tourism and leisure industry in order to give students the opportunity to develop an overall understanding of this dynamic industry. Together with experts, students reflect on the competitiveness of companies and destinations on a national and international level. This guarantees an interdisciplinary, practical approach so that questions can be discussed at the pulse of time.

The diversity and the many points of contact between tourism and related topics are clearly evident in the two specializations offered, "Marketing Management & Tourism" (purely in English) and "Strategic Management & Tourism". These give students the opportunity to specialize according to their interests.
