Admission

1. Bachelor's degree

If you have obtained (or will obtain) a Bachelor’s (or Master’s) degree in Psychology from a research university outside the Netherlands, then you are admissible if your degree includes:
 

  • Statistics and Data Analysis (at least 15 EC, i.e. 420 study hours)
  • Methods of psychological research (at least 20 EC, i.e. 560 study hours).
  • Social Psychology and Work/ Organisational/ Occupational Psychology at a Bachelor’s level (at least 30 EC, i.e. 840 study hours).
  • At least one empirical research project with substantial quantitative data and statistical analyses that resulted in an individually written report in APA-style.


2. Proficiency in English

In order to take part in this programme, you need to have fluency in both written and spoken English. This requirement has been satisfied when the student meets one of the following conditions:
 

  • Is a citizen of Australia, Canada (with exception of Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, Singapore, UK, USA and South Africa.
  • Has successfully completed a Bachelor's programme that was taught completely in the English language in one of the following countries: EU/EEA-countries, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, United States of America.


All other students need one of the following certificates (All certificates may not be older than two years):
 

  • ELTS Academic: overall score of at least 7.0 and band scores of at least 6.5
  • TOEFL iBT: total score of at least 100,  sub scores at least 22 (reading), 22 (listening), 22 (speaking) and 25 (writing).
  • CAE/CPE: grade of at least C
